Work Injury or Car Crash?

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

It's important to know the proper steps when filing either a Workers Comp. or Personal Injury claim. Dealing with the insurance companies and the amount of paperwork that comes with it can get pretty stressful and overwhelming especially if you've never been through this before. They will take full advantage of your lack of knowledge and limit what you might actually be entitled to just to save a buck.

An experienced injury attorney is there to ensure you have the ability to focus strictly on your recovery 100% and not stress over the rest.

Please submit your information or give a call to speak to our Legal Consultant(Juan Alvarez) for a free consultation and full break down of your case. Remember there's NO FEE if you're not COMPENSATED.

          Workers Comp:

If you suffer an injury while on the job due to a specific accident or from the same repetitive work then you can file a workers comp. claim. You must report any injury to your supervisor so they can take the necessary steps to send you to a company doctor and help you with the initial paperwork needed to file your claim. A company doctor will then determine if you can return to work with "light duty restrictions" or if disability will be required, which is all paid for by the workers comp.

It all sounds pretty straight forward, so why an attorney right?
Remember, the insurance companies are all about saving money and doing what they can to avoid having to pay. They will do so by prolonging paperwork or your medical treatment approvals. An experienced injury attorney backed by a solid legal team can help guide the process for you and make sure you get what you fully deserve.

          Personal Injury:

If you suffer an injury whether as a driver, passenger, or pedestrian, then you can file a personal injury claim against the other person's insurance company. **After any car involved accident, call 911 and request police immediately along with an ambulance if needed** A police officer will make a full report of what happened and will make sure no information is kept hidden or changed which can cause problems down the line.

The purpose of car insurance is to cover all medical treatment, any lost wages, car/property damage, and a fair compensation. A top injury attorney can help navigate your claim and make sure your injuries are attended to.

You have a voice, and its our job to make sure the insurance companies hear it loud and clear!"

Benefits of having a lawyer:

  • can help initiate your claim if not done yet (handles all paperwork)

  • establishes communication with parties involved (handles important phone calls)

  • will respond to any delays or denials (can file appeals and handle court procedures)

  • medical treatment, disability benefits, long term benefits, a proper compensation (is there when it matters most)

  • you can focus more on your recovery (unnecessary stress can delay recovery time)

Without a lawyer:

  • every decision and outcome will be in the hands of the insurance company (they call the shots)

  • delays and denials will have to be handled by you (you'd have to meet deadlines and handle all paperwork/appeals)

  • poor medical care, no help filing for disability benefits, lowball offers, hidden information (remember that word STRESS?)

  • everything that could go wrong will all come down to you ultimately (don't forget about your recovery time too)

  • you'd be outnumbered (insurance companies have lawyers - you should too)
